You are probably wondering “what the heck is that fuzzy picture of?!?” Well, the license plate says “BFP”. Let me let you in on some of the hip lingo in the infertility world. We use lots and lots of acronyms because there are lots and lots of things to talk about and if we spelled them all out….well, let’s just say it wouldn’t be NEAR as much fun!! BFP is our acronym for “Big Fat Positive” and we use this lingo when we get, well just that….a Big Fat Positive on a pregnancy test! So, when I was leaving the fertility clinic today that picture was of the license plate of the old couple in front of me. I am sure their acronym probably didn’t mean the same as mine (as my friend Keri said, “maybe Bob and Francie Pollock??”), but I think it is a sign that this cycle is going to result in a BFP!! =)

Emotions/Sanity Check - feeling pretty awesome today! Finished up at work and all packed to leave for
Clinic visits – Today I had the hysteroscopy which was quite the experience! It was a little more than slightly painful and that was after the Novocain that was injected throughout the inside of my cervix!!! Wow! Anyway, long story short I saw on the screen the inside of my uterus and the right and left fallopian tube openings. I gotta say, it was pretty darn cool. Results in Dr. Toner’s words “I don’t see any reason your uterus can’t carry a full term baby”…..so I guess I passed with flying colors again! I realized that my old doctor never performed this procedure, which I find kind of strange, and am thankful we now know once we get our BFP, we shouldn’t have any issues
